Our New Neighbor

Last Bath?
Mom was happy to christen the new bathroom with a bubble bath. But then she passed out in the tub. Great, I try to do a good thing and I kill my mom. At lease she smelled good.

The Bell

When I asked “Do you trust me?” She whispered “Yes.” “Do you understand I will do everything in my power to keep you healthy and safe?” She smiled and nodded. “That means you must obey me.” Her mood shifted in an instant. Then she puckered up for a kiss. A sign of surrender or one wishing me luck?
You Look Tired
After a long night with little sleep, Mom calls for me at 6:00 am. I stumble out of bed and into her room. Mom: You look tired. Me: I wonder why.
